Barry is passionate about individuals taking control of their own health. His goal is to provide products along with scientific research articles to empower individuals to improve their own health and performance. Barry's background in animal husbandry and soil husbandry highlighted the importance of supplements, minerals and nutrient dense food for maintaining and improving health. This is as important in the human population as it is in animals.
Jacqui Houghton-Lee - Director and Technical Consultant
Jacqui has always had an interest in health and medicine and in helping others. She started her career in medicine with general nursing training in 1974 in Christchurch NZ, furthering her interest in nutritional and orthomolecular medicine by completed a naturopathic diploma in 1994. She promoted the sale of gluten free food in restaurants by opening the first cafe and restaurant to specialise in gluten free products.After completing her diploma she wrote the correspondence pathology component for medical herbal students at Canterbury College of Natural Medicine where she taught the component. She moved to practitioner consultancy for a local distribution company which specialised in herbal and orthomolecular medicine, setting up their teleconferences, consulting on their hot line for natural health practitioners through out New Zealand as well as training staff in their retail outlet. She now runs a private practice with an interest in functional medicine, anti aging medicine, cardiovascular health, women and children's health.
Brendan Penwarden Technical Consultant
Brendan has a wealth of experience in natural medicine and marketing. A key note speaker sought after for his educational seminars he was excellent communication skills and a wry humor. He has developed sales and marketing relationships. Brendan will help evolve the NZ operations to become a key player in the Natural Health arena.National Technical Services Manager for a leading Nutraceuticals Company in Australia for many years.
Brendan managed their Australian and NZ operations of 75 sales staff, and carried out the general duties associated with marketing, sales and brand management (across 2 brands), key account management (of large banner group suppliers), technical and event management. |
